Ruwan K.

Ruwan was born in Sri Lanka. After completing his general school education, he decided to pursue a career in tourism and joined the Ceylon Hotel School in 2004, where he completed his culinary education up to the intermediate and advanced levels. He worked in several hotels in Sri Lanka before moving to the Maldives, then to Dubai, and later to the United States. Ruwan has been a talented pastry chef and has worked in well-known restaurants in New York. He has always wanted to help younger generations by sharing his knowledge and experiences.

As his son was growing up in New York, Ruwan wanted to teach him the Sinhala language. While his son was receiving Sinhala language education from various online institutes, Ruwan decided to start a new online Sinhala language school to support Sri Lankan children growing up around the world. That is how Araliya Tutors was founded. Today, it is rapidly growing internationally as a Sinhala language center for Sri Lankan younger generations worldwide.
